Water Quality Code Implementation-This position is a professional position to manage implementation of the county wide water quality code; including the general requirements, erosion and sediment control, stormwater, fertilizer, Florida Friendly Landscaping, and irrigation elements. The selected candidate will supervise 2-4 employees and will be responsible for assisting with budgeting, hiring, and purchasing processes. This position requires experience with developing, implementing, and enforcing environmental codes. Training through the Florida Association of Codes Enforcement (or equivalent) and experience with citations, Codes Enforcement Boards, and/or a Special Magistrate process is preferred. Experience with water conservation, irrigation systems, and landscaping professionals would benefit this position. This position may assist with obtaining and managing grant funded projects.
