PUROSE: To assist state, local and tribal communities in identifying and
profiling air toxics sources, assessing emerging measurement methods,
characterizing the degree and extent of local air toxics problems, and
tracking progress of air toxics reduction activities.

$4.5 million available for approximately 15 - 20 assistance agreements
Wetland Program
Development Grants (Region 4)
The purpose of this program is to support the coordination and acceleration
of effective, comprehensive programs for wetland protection and management,
especially in the area of water pollution. Program funds are intended
to enhance the capacity of all levels of government to improve wetland
programs by promoting research and training relating to the causes and
effects of and solutions to water pollution. Projects must work to further
EPA's strategic goals and objectives.

Energy Efficient
Building Systems Regional Innovation Cluster Initiative
The Obama Administration has announced a multi-agency funding opportunity
to support an Energy Regional Innovation Cluster (E-RIC). This pilot initiative
will spur regional economic growth while developing innovative energy
efficient building technologies, designs, and systems. Seven federal agencies
released a combined Funding Opportunity Announcement (pdf - 787kb) making
up to $129.7 million available over five years to support the cluster.
