If you weren't able to join us on March 25th for the 3rd Annual FLERA Legislative Day the handouts and some important links are available below. The members in attendance discussed all of the proposed bills listed in the FLERA Legislative Update (see link below) and then visited members of their delegations to voice their opinions on the bills of most concern to them.
That same day, FLERA representatives were instrumental in shepherding through major amendments to SB 1752 in the Senate. All three sections of concern in that bill (see SB 1752 Summary Sheet link below) were either eliminated or amended favorably to avoid local government preemptions.
